Erik Vance Biography

Erik Vance is the President and Founder of the Pray or Die! organization.Erik passionately declares the truth of the gospel without compromise. He challenges teenagers, young adults and college students to take a stand for Christ in their schools, communities, and throughout the world.

As a youth, Erik was anointed on national TV by Pastor Creflo Dollar who proclaimed he was anointed to do exploits throughout the world. However, Vance wandered down another path after this prophesy, a road that included drug dealing, alcohol, heavy gambling, many women, and a life of crime. As a youth, Erik was even expelled from schools on occasion.

Luckily, he had a supernatural encounter with GOD that changed his life forever. The vision for the organization came from Luke 22:31-32, where Jesus told his disciple, Simeon Peter, “the enemy wants to utterly destroy you but I have prayed for thee…” It was Jesus’ prayer that saved Peter from death. It seems the enemy wants to do the same with young adults and teens across the world — through media, porn, music, and drugs. Through prayer, we can recapture this generation and bring our world “back to its original state through the power of prayer”.

Erik is a sought-after speaker who travels sharing the power of prayer, the importance of prayer, and the benefits of salvation with this generation. In addition to spearheading Pray or Die!, Erik Vance is an entrepreneur who also speaks with young adults and college students about financial stability. Erik has made numerous media appearances since the inception of P.O.D., including theWB, UPN, BET, MTV, TBN and many more. Presently, Erik is not a Pastor but a dynamic evangelist that travels throughout the country proclaiming the gospel

Marquez Montgomery Biography

Màrquez Montgomery is currently a Senior Communications & Religion major at Clark Atlanta University. As a member of the Assembly of Truth Family Worship Center, under the leadership of Bishop Micheal and Dr. Tanda Canion, Marquez is stead fast in nurturing and developing his purpose through ministry. Màrquez has also committed himself to the active vision and movement of Pray or Die, a faith based organization established to steer generations into a positive direction and helping birth the gift of faith and power of prayer. Màrquez believes that the power of love, faith and prayer is now changing the nations!

Kenny Rice Biography

Kenny Rice Jr. is the proud son of Kenny Sr. and Crystal S. Rice. Kenny is a 2010 graduate of Nansemond-Suffolk Academy in Suffolk, Virginia where he actively participated in athletics and exemplified great leadership qualities in the classroom. He is a 2009 alumni of Duke Youth Academy for Christian Formation and currently attends Morehouse College. As a Man of Morehouse, he is a freshman Political Science major where he serves as a chapel assistant, a member of ACTS (Actively Changing Tomorrow through Service), and is the Chapter head of Pray or Die! His theme scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6 and ministers to bind up the broken hearted, set the captives at liberty, and release prisoners from darkness [Isaiah 61].
